3,9 cm

Deceitfully adorable pendant with just a little bit of surrealistic flavor, consisting of an amazing, big, faceted rose quartz (2,2 cm x 1,6 cm), set in silver and a sculpted silver flower...looking back at you. This hand carved flower with vertical, cat-like pupil serves as an articulated bail on which the pendant hangs. Every detail of this small sculpture was meticulously formed with just a few basic sculpting and metalsmithing tools - veins on the petals, texture on the iris or even the reflection on the surface of the eye.

The pendant is oxidized and polished to a high shine, to showcase all the beautiful elements even better and to create contrast with a serene shade of pink of the rose quartz. Total length of this pendant is 3,9 cm. It comes with a silver chain (the length is up to the Buyer). It will be packed in a nice gift box. Comes with a certificate of uniqueness. If you have any questions, please, ask.

My pendant „Lair of visions” was published in AMCAW calendar (Alliance for Metal Clay Arts Worldwide) for 2021.  This piece is made of sterling silver, milled sterling sheet, fine silver bezel wire, electroplated gold, three labradorites and two peridots. This pendant was hand sculpted using simple tools. No moulds. Every element was formed from scratch. It’s a combination of sculpting in wet clay, slip painting and dry contruction. Stone settings were soldered after firing. The bail was constructed from milled metal, combined with an ornamental element sculpted in metal clay - the elements were soldered together. This piece is a poetic reminiscence of my strolls and meditations in the forest. Forest and its gifts as a source of vision See more photos of this piece here.
