Unique, sculptural, narrative pendant, hand carved by me in sterling silver and adorned with natural Baltic ambers. The bigger amber (at the top of the pendant) is 13 mm in diameter and is set on the background of 24 K gold keum boo foil which (due to amber's partial transparency and interesting internal structures) results in amazing light effects. Diameter of the smaller amber (at the bottom of the pendant) is 3 mm. Total length of this piece is 6.8 cm. Width 3.3 cm. Some details (balls and eyes) are subtly covered with yellow gold.

“The Truth Seeker” is a story about the journey to find the Truth – the answer to that unnamed question about the fabric of the Universe, or maybe about who we are, what we do here… Or maybe these are all the same one question we don’t even know how to form in the right way, but we all feel the yearning for the answer.

It’s also a story about getting to the Truth – whatever it is – the two ways – the more intellectual one and the one blooming straight from our heart, leading to the Truth through weird and unexpected meanders of feelings and premonitions. None is better than the other. They might lead to the same Truth. Or maybe nowhere.

This piece won the first place in a challenge organized by Alliance for Metal Clay Arts Worldwide, theme "Journey".

The pendant is oxidized and satin finished to showcase all the sculptural details.  Every single detail of this piece - the face, the ornaments around it - were formed without using any moulds - just simple sculpting and silversmithing tools. It is signed and marked with a year of creation (2023) and also with the name of the piece itself. Hung on a strand of tiny sterling silver beads, two ambers, two gold balls and tiny tiger eye beads. The length is 42 cm plus 9 cm of regulation.
Comes packed in a gift box. A certificate of uniqueness is included.
