Unique, very unusual pendant, hand sculpted and fabricated by me in sterling and fine silver, adorned with an amazing specimen of heliotrope (called also bloodstone) - beautiful shade of very dark green, splattered with abstract, red splashes.
Total length of this piece, including carved, articulated bail is 6.9 cm (2.71 in). Width in the widest place is 2.5 cm (1 in). Oxidized (darkened) and only partially polished (horns and other "striped" elements), to showcase the sculptural nature of this pendant even better.
The back is satin finished and partially open to show base of the heliotrope. The faceted stone in the central eye is a small garnet. Signed and marked with the year of creation.

This pendant was made in a very intuitive manner. I don't know what it actually is, but I know what it is ABOUT. It started with me seeing a distorted reflection of myself in a piece of silver sheet (you can see it in one of the photos). I knew from the very beginning it was going to be called "Blood brothers" and I automatically chose a bloodstone to work with. I feel that it tells a story about  very deep, unbreakable connections, bonds deeper than what an eye can see. It is about things which are dual, twofold, but one at the same time. Maybe it is about pacts which join things for eternity. About relations so close that almost terryfying, but also awe inspiring...
Visually this piece reaches for imagery of horned gods, goddesses and creatures, present in so many pantheons and folklore.

The pendant comes with back cord AND a sterling silver chain (the length is up to the Buyer). It's going to be packed in a nice gift box. Certificate of Uniqueness is included.
